EVALUATION OF THE SOY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE (X-SOY 600) IN THE NUTRITION OF NILE TILAPIUM (Oreochromis niloticus)

The inclusion of SPC in the Tilapia fry and juvenile diets provides better performance.

Experimental Conditions:

  • The diets were formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of the species, in which (SPC) replaced fish meal in 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100%.
  • The test was conducted in tanks of 310 liters, with 12 juveniles (average weight 24g), fed manually, in daily meals, at will. The total test period was 73 days.
