PROJECT AND PARTNERSHIP

CJ Selecta, together with Araguari’s Town Hall and Ascamara will encourage the selective collection of waste in partners properties. How?

CJ SELECTA

CJ will provide support for the producer to return the fertilizer packages correctly, in addition to other recyclables. CJ Selecta repaired the city’s hydraulic press and truck and also donated safety materials, PPE and will donate its recyclables to the association.

RURAL PRODUCER FROM ARAGUARI

Currently, CJ Selecta has a business relationship with more than 200 rural producers in the city of Araguari, who sell soy and fertilizers, where they will separate waste and fertilizer packages destined for selective collection.

ASCAMARA

The Association sells its recyclables to MG Recicla, located in the city of Uberlândia. With this project, Ascamara will have another continuous source of recyclable materials, contributing to the Association’s work and to the life quality of its members and their families.

SOBRE A ASCAMARA

Ascamara (Association of Recyclable Material Collectors of Araguari), was created in 2002, and currently has 21 members who work in selective collection activities in Araguari. To strengthen the association, a cooperation agreement was signed between Ascamara and Araguari’s Town hall (Environment Secretariat), where the Municipality provides: The location, electricity, water and logistics (vehicle and fuel) for the collection of materials, and this collection covers the urban and rural areas of the Municipality of Araguari.

PROMOTE THE REVERSE LOGISTICS OF PLASTIC OF THE FERTILIZER PACKAGE PRODUCED BY CJ SELECTA, ACT WITH SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ACT IN A SUSTAINABLE WAY.

WHAT IS REVERSE LOGISTICS?

It is characterized by the collection and forwarding of waste for recycling (or other environmentally suitable destination) after disposal by the final customer, such as: electronics, fertilizer packaging and agrochemicals.

ASCAMARA

The Association is very interested in HDPE plastic, which has greater added value when sold to recycling companies, generating greater income and fostering the Association’s growth.
